The 46Bn CRPF organized a special cleanliness drive at the Sadura Railway Station under the nationwide ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaign launched by the Government of India to honor Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
The drive was aimed at spreading the message of cleanliness, discipline, and social responsibility among CRPF personnel as well as the local community. During the campaign, the surroundings of the railway station were cleaned, waste was properly disposed of, and efforts were made to maintain a pollution-free environment.
Senior officers and jawans of the 46Bn CRPF actively participated in the initiative. Among those present were Sh. Amit Sharma, 2IC PMG, Sh. Tilak Raj, Assistant Commandant, Sh. Tarkeshwar Kaji, Assistant Commandant, Sh. Prem Kumar, Assistant Commandant, along with subordinate officers and CRPF jawans.
On the occasion, the Swachhta Pledge was administered by Commandant 46Bn CRPF Devender Singh Pal PMG. All officers and jawans pledged to uphold the values of cleanliness, vowing to keep their surroundings neat and free from garbage.
The participants also expressed their determination to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, emphasizing that maintaining cleanliness is a way of serving the nation and contributing to a healthier and better environment. —(VOI)
